WHO IS THE INSTRUCTOR?
Mike Foster is the creator and your instructor for the Rescue Academy training videos. With over 15 years of experience, Mike blends well-researched, actionable strategies and insights to provide compassionate care and coaching. He is a nationally recognized expert in helping people find freedom from the hurts and habits that hold them back.
HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
The course consists of 7 videos, each about 20 minutes in length. If you choose to do as a group each session can last 45-60 minutes in length due to optional discussions and other interactive elements that are included. Take your team through it in one day, two days, or over a longer period of time. The schedule and the experience are customizable to what works best for you.
DOES MY ENTIRE TEAM HAVE TO DO RESCUE ACADEMY TOGETHER?
No! You can if you want to, but we've designed the course to be flexible so that teams can either do it together or individually at their own pace.
HOW DOES THE LICENSING WORK?
Due to the copyrighted content, a usage license is required for each person taking the course. For example, if you have 25 volunteers taking the course, you will need 25 licenses. 60 people taking the course you will need 60 licenses. A Rescue Academy workbook is included with each license. And don't worry, we have a very simple process for purchasing additional licenses if you need them. Contact Scott@SecondChance.org.
HOW IS RESCUE ACADEMY DIFFERENT THEN YOUR LIVE WORKSHOP IN SAN DIEGO?
Rescue Academy touches on many of the ideas, concepts and tools that are taught in our LIVE workshop. The main difference is that we have eliminated the need to come to San Diego in order to get the training. The 20-minute video teachings set you up to facilitate the conversations with your team and you can do it at your own pace and structure.
WHAT'S INSIDE THE WORKBOOK?
The beautifully designed, 120-page workbook contains short readings, discussion questions and real-life scenarios for your team to discuss. It also contains fill-in-the blank outlines for Mike's teaching sessions.
