MONDAYS.

I love Mondays.

Yes, Mondays. When most people are counting down until it’s Friday, I’m looking forward to Monday.

When their attention goes to failures from the previous week, projects not completed, lunches with friends cancelled, and missed opportunities to thrive, my mind goes somewhere else.

Monday is the beginning of a new week. Monday is a second chance.

The concerns, hurts, and failures of last week mean nothing. Today is a new week, a second chance, and I am going to do everything in my power to use this second chance.

But guess what? I love Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and, yes, Even Sundays.

Every day you are breathing is a gift from God.  It’s a gift given to you for a reason. Embrace the second chance you are given with every new day. Leave behind victimization and pity and take hold of grace.

It’s Monday.  What are you going to do with your second chance?
